BTS will be featured in the soundtrack of the upcoming Marvel film The Eternals, which is out in theaters on November 5.
According to South Korea's Korea JoongAng Daily and other Korean media, Walt Disney Company Korea confirmed Tuesday that BTS' "Friends" will be among the songs on the soundtrack, which also features a string of other famed artists.
The track, produced by BTS member Jimin, is from the band's fourth studio album Map of the Soul: 7, which was released back in February 2020.
The song, which is reported to be about the friendship between Jimin and fellow BTS member V, is slated to be "featured in a specific scene" in The Eternals, according to Walt Disney Company Korea.
According to the company's latest release, the soundtrack will feature music from various genres, including country, pop, rock as well as classical music, Huffington Post Korea and other Korean media reported.

Other Korean Features in the Marvel Universe
The Eternals also stars South Korean actor Ma Dong-seok (also known as Don Lee) in the role of Gilgamesh.
The actor, known from Train to Busan, the zombie action thriller that premiered at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, was featured among the digital cover posters for Entertainment Weekly back in August highlighting the film's key players.
Describing Gilgamesh as "extremely powerful and the strongest warrior of Eternal," the Korean actor told Entertainment Weekly that the "solid, dependable character" is protective over his family and serves his team in battle. "At the same time, he's a funny guy and has a sense of humor."
Noting he has a profound connection with the film's Thena character, Ma said he prefers to use his fists in combat, eliminating enemies with a single punch.
He explained: "Gilgamesh's action is based on boxing, so I could add real boxing movements," adding the latest role fits him "perfectly," having been a longtime boxer for over 30 years since he was a child.
Off the heels of Ma's Gilgamesh role, another Korean actor is slated to join the Marvel Universe.
Park Seo-jun, known from the Oscar-winning Parasite as well as a host of other Korean films and K-drama series, will appear in the Captain Marvel sequel titled The Marvels.
The actor's management agency, Awesome Entertainment, confirmed his appearance in a statement last month, noting the actor had traveled to the U.K. for the film shoot, according to South Korea's Star News.
Park will be the third Korean actor to join the Marvel Universe after Ma and Claudia Kim, who starred in Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
