A new report from the CDC shows binge drinking is a growing issue among adults.
Studies show that in 2018, one in six adults reported binge drinking in the last 30 days.
About 25% admitted to drinking weekly, and 25% also said they would have at least eight drinks.
Experts are now saying these numbers are most likely greater today due to the pandemic.
This type of drinking pattern can increase the chances of heart disease, liver disease and alcohol use disorder, health officials say.
