Walman picked up an assist on Jordan Kyrou's second goal of the game. The 25-year-old Walman had just two points to go with 47 shots on goal, 26 hits and 20 blocked shots in 24 contests last year. He's the Blues' sixth defenseman for now, but he'll have to fend off Niko Mikkola's challenge for a third-pairing job.
