The Jacksonville Jaguars hosted Baker High School football star Kayleb Wagner at the Jaguars vs. Titans game on Sunday, Oct. 10 for his first NFL game experience to honor his record-breaking achievement. He recently broke Titans RB Derek Henry's Florida high school football single-game rushing record, which had stood for nearly a decade. The Jaguars hosted Wagner on the sidelines during warmups and surprised him with a pair of custom cleats by artist Soles by Sir that displayed "25 carries, 535 yards, 6 touchdowns," to commemorate his accomplishment. He received an even bigger surprise, when Henry made his way over to congratulate Wagner before taking on the Jaguars.

"It was really cool getting to meet the best running back in the NFL and one of my biggest idols," said Wagner. "This is an experience I am going to remember for the rest of my life and a reminder that hard work and dedication does pay off."

While at Yulee High School, Henry rushed 45 times for 502 yards and six touchdowns in September 2012 to establish the state record. Wagner exceeded it on Sept. 17, 2021, with 25 carries, 535 yards and six touchdowns, scoring a game-winning touchdown in a 49-48 win over South Walton.
