Free agent point guard Ty Lawson has agreed to a contract with Puerto Rican club Mets de Guaynabo, according to JD Shaw of Hoops Rumors.Ty Lawson

Lawson, 33, is 5-foot-11 and last played in the NBA during the 2016-17 season with the Kings. He spent 2019-20 with Fujian Sturgeons of the Chinese Basketball Association, averaging 27.3 points and 8.8 assists, as well as 2.5 steals.

His best seasons came with the Denver from 2009-15. He has also played for the Rockets, Pacers and, of course, Kings.

He carries NBA career averages of 12.7 points and 6.0 assists.
