A woman who says she was good friends with Gabby Petito claims it’s just not true that Petito and fiancé Brian Laundrie were living at his parents’ home in North Port, Florida, before their road trip, The Sun reports.

Rose Davis, who says she was a long-time friend of Petito’s, said Saturday during a TikTok Live session that Petito and Laundrie actually lived together in a condo paid for by Laundrie’s parents. The claim has not been independently verified or confirmed publicly by authorities. It is not clear where the alleged condo was located.

“She did not live with the Laundrie parents,” Davis said during the live session, according to The Sun. “They had a condo that the parents paid for.”

Davis described how difficult it has been to remember her time hanging out at the condo with Petito and Laundrie before they embarked on a cross-country road trip.

The couple had been traveling in a camper van throughout the western United States, but Laundrie returned to Florida on September 1, parking the van at his parents’ house. He subsequently refused to talk with police about Petito.

On September 17, Laundrie’s parents told authorities that they had not seen their son for days after they claim he told them he went hiking at a nearby preserve. Two days later, police found Petito’s body in the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming. She died from strangulation and had been deceased for several weeks before being located, according to an autopsy.

Meanwhile, Laundrie, a person of interest in Petito’s death, has not been seen for more than a month.

Davis said during the live session that she had been planning to meet the couple during their travels at some point and had been expected to speak with Petito on Davis’ birthday, August 29.

“We made plans for after my birthday to go to Yellowstone . . . but when you’re living van life, you can’t always have a set plan,” Davis said during the live session, according to The Sun.

“So, she was gonna call me on my birthday . . . but she did not call me on my birthday.”

Davis explained that she was not initially concerned about the missed phone call, assuming that things do not always go as planned on a road trip. Davis added that she could not publicly share much else about the case but is confident that “the FBI is doing their job.”.

Anyone with information on Laundrie’s whereabouts should contact the FBI at: http://tips.fbi.gov, call 1-800-CALL-FBI, or 303-629-7171. Upload photos and videos to: http://fbi.gov/petito.

Seriously? A condo that everyone failed to mention until now? Wow! This is u believable! These parents need to be arrested for lying to the police and withholding pertinent information!

ALL lies!! Brian is dead, he was murdered by the same people that murdered Gabby and the other 2 women. I don't believe that Brian ever came home and I have never heard of cops paying for a motel room for anyone and it's bought for the guy but left the young lady alone in the middle of nowhere??!!! I don't believe that, plus if Brian is missing no one is shedding a tear! The parents are heavily connected to the law enforcement the mom was district attorney and the uncle is a cop. The police and the parents are in some kind of "group" , remember no one cared at all, Gabby's parents were the only ones worried about them....I'm also beginning to believe that this is like the supposed shooter in Vegas, it's a false flag

I don’t believe this. Why is she “just now” stepping forward? Let the FBI and law enforcement do their job.
