Missing 12-year-old found safe after nearly a week

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (KUTV) —
A 12-year-old boy who went missing in West Valley City has been found safe after going missing nearly a week ago.

Officials with the West Valley City Police Department said Kaydyn Christensen ran away from home on October 12.
He has last last seen getting off a school bus in the area of 2900 South and 1600 West.

In a tweet posted Monday, officials said they had located the boy safe.
