Grayson Allen, the 21st pick in the 2018 draft, came to the Bucks in a trade with Memphis in the offseason.

Grayson Allen admitted Monday’s rookie extension deadline offered a bit of peace of mind, knowing that if he and the Milwaukee Bucks could not come to an agreement it was out of his hands and he would play out the season.

But Allen and the Bucks did come to terms on a two-year extension that can be worth up to $19.5 million if certain team and player incentives are reached, the Journal Sentinel confirmed. ESPN first reported the agreement.

Allen, 26, was acquired from Memphis in an offseason trade to bolster the starting lineup in place of an injured Donte DiVincenzo.

Allen was the No. 21 pick in the 2018 draft out of Duke by the Utah. He was traded after one year with the Jazz and shot 39.5% from behind the three-point line in the last two seasons with the Grizzlies.
