Handwritten lyrics from Lady Gaga, Cyndi Lauper offered at Julien's Auctions

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Artist-handwritten lyrics from songs including Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying," Lady Gaga's "I'll Never Love Again" and Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" are among the musical treasures on the auction block in a charity sale, organizers announced today, with bidding already open.

Advanced bidding began Friday -- which was Heal the Music Day -- for the Music Health Alliance Second Annual Handwritten Lyrics Auction at juliensauctions.com. Bidding will continue until 11 a.m. Nov.
1, with proceeds benefiting the alliance's programs to provide health care access to music professionals with medical and financial issues.

The handwritten lyrics are signed by the songwriter and/or recording artist, with estimated prices ranging from $600 to $2,000.

Other lyrices up for grabs include Rosanne Cash's "Crossing Jerusalem": Dan & Shay and Justin Bieber's "10,000 Hours"; Miranda Lambert's "Tin Man"; George Thorogood's "Bad to the Bone"; and Lucinda Williams' "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road."

According to the auction house, Music Health Alliance has provided free health-care advocacy for more than 15,000 members of the music community since 2013. More information can be found at musichealthalliance.com.
