Welcome to the upside down.

Kitschy hotels are a dime a dozen, but for anyone looking to up the haunted house meets retro-chic ante, this hotel’s spooky new suite is just the ticket.

Just in time for Halloween, the Graduate Hotel Bloomington in Indiana has unveiled a new ‘Stranger Things Suite’ that will be sure to surprise, delight and terrify.

Inspired by the hit sci-fi Netflix show, the two-bed, two-bath hotel room is an uncanny recreation of the Wheeler family basement meets Byers family living room and can sleep up to four guests per night. With all the retro 1980’s meets haunted house feels, it’s just bursting with nostalgia — think: crochet covered couches, vinyl wood paneling and in-wall dial up rotary phone along with all the florals and flannels you could hope for (or hope to forget).

Don’t worry, you don’t have to be a fan of the show to stay here (although it certainly doesn’t hurt). But if you’re looking for Halloween in a hotel room, you’ll definitely appreciate all the nitty gritty details from the show that went into it.

The iconic alphabet wall replete with colorful string lights is the focal point in the suite, along with retro furniture, some of which has been affixed to the ceiling to evoke all the upside down vibes from the show.

Other details include Farah Fawcett hairspray, oversized walkie talkies and two-seater couch with crocheted pillows which you might remember from the Wheeler’s basement. The room’s wood-paneling, board games and vintage cassette player also help keep the theme intact.

Everyone who books the ‘Stranger Things’ suite will also get ‘The Upside Down Experience’ that comes with a Polaroid camera to use during your stay as well as bikes to explore the city and two WonderLab Science Museum tickets. Of course, a stay in the Stranger Things suite wouldn’t be complete without one of Eleven’s favorite treats — Eggo’s.

With Season 4 of Stranger Things slated for 2022, you can now book the Stranger Things suite starting at $309 per night.
