Following Saturday's win over Mississippi State, Alabama wide receiver Traeshon Holden reminisced about his recruitment, specifically a moment when Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young tried to recruit him.

But Young wasn't recruiting Holden to Alabama, he was recruiting him to Southern Cal.

"Traeshon Holden, Alabama commit," said Young at the time. "But I don't really believe it. He's bluffing. We're working on Traeshon."

When Young asked Holden to commit to USC on the spot, the receiver laughed it off. Young was committed to USC until September 2019, when he flipped to Alabama. Now, he's a Heisman Trophy candidate for the Crimson Tide.
