Rowdies look to get back on track

by The 100 Companies

After rolling off nine consecutive wins, the Rowdies have hit a bump in the road.

Their winning streak was snapped at Pittsburgh 2-0 on Oct. 10, but that probably wasn’t as disappointing as a 1-1 tie on at home against the lowly New York Red Bulls II.

The Rowdies had beaten the Red Bulls three times, including 6-0 on Sept. 11.

New York stands at 5-17, with seven draws. The Rowdies comfortably lead their division, but the race for the best overall record has tightened considerably.

The Rowdies host Miami FC at Al Lang Stadium on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
