• Reese Witherspoon, 45, shared her must-have travel skincare products in a recent Instagram story.
  • Her favorites include the award-winning eye cream from Biossance, the Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream.
  • “I think when you talk about using products that are good for your skin, your largest organ, you are making that investment in yourself,” she said in a recent interview.

It seems like actress Reese Witherspoon hasn’t aged a day since we first saw her on our television screens way back in 2001. Her role as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde is now iconic (people still enjoy dressing up as her for Halloween). Though it wasn’t just her character that had a love for beauty products, Witherspoon herself devotes time to focus on her skincare routine.

“I just try to be really good about taking care of my skin twice a day,” the 45-year-old said in an interview for People. “I invest that time in the morning and at night, especially on my neck and my hands.” And, apparently, she takes time to treat her under eyes, too.

Last week, Witherspoon shared a photo of her “travel-line up,” which included her must-have skincare travel products, on her Instagram story. The lineup included an array of Biossance products, but most notably (in our opinion), the brand's Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream.

Biossance is a brand known for its award-winning, vegan, and cruelty-free skincare products. Witherspoon's favorite, the Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream happens to be one of the brand’s best-selling items—it received a 4.6-star rating from customers on the brand’s site.

Formulated with good-for-you skincare ingredients like squalene and pink marine algae, this eye cream works to hydrate, moisturize, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area within seven days, according to the brand. It has a lightweight texture that glides on smoothly and melts down into the skin. It helps color correct dark circles with a more natural-looking color from its pink algae.

Squalene is a great skincare ingredient because it doesn't feel too heavy or clog pores easily," said Mona Gohara, M.D., vice president of the Women’s Dermatologic Society and member of Prevention’s Medical Review Board in a previous interview for Prevention.com

Reviewers also note how deeply moisturizing the cream leaves their eye area, without leaving behind any greasy residue. “I absolutely love this product. It is so moisturizing without being heavy and doesn’t bother my sensitive eyes at all,” wrote one reviewer. “The difference in my under eyes was almost immediately visible. Much less crepey and a difference in the appearance of lines. I just started this product and can’t wait to see the benefits over the long term.”

Her three other products of choice are all from the Biossance brand, which comes as no surprise as she serves as the brand’s global ambassador. The products include the Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream, Squalane + Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum, and Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream.

If those reviews are not enough to sway you, take it from Witherspoon herself, who only relies on these three products to keep her youthful-looking appearance. Shop her favorite wrinkle-reducing eye cream and more of her skincare favorites for soft and radiant skin.
