Warsaw, Ill- The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a Warsaw IL man for drug possession.
According to a news release, on Thursday, October 14th, 2021, at about 11:25 AM, Hancock County dispatch received a report of three individuals in a residence with guns threatening the resident at 420 North Fifth Street, in Warsaw, IL.
Deputies arrived and cleared the residence. They found the complaint to be unfounded. They interviewed the resident, 41-year-old Jason M. Thurman, and found him to be under the influence of a stimulant which was causing paranoia.
A subsequent search of the residence revealed Drug Paraphernalia and Less than 5 grams of Methamphetamine.
Thurman was arrested and transported to the Hancock County Jail.
