STATE COLLEGE — Penn State and Ohio State are back in prime time.
The game between the No. 7 Nittany Lions and No. 5 Buckeyes on Oct. 30 will kick off at 7:30 p.m. at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, and the game will be televised on ABC, the Big Ten announced Monday.
For Penn State (5-1, 2-1 Big Ten), the matchup will be the Nittany Lions’ third appearance in the 7:30 p.m. slot on ABC this season. They previously defeated Auburn and Indiana in the time slot. Ohio State (5-1, 3-0) will be playing its fourth night game this season.

Ohio State has won four straight meetings against Penn State, including a 38-25 win at Beaver Stadium on Halloween in 2020. The Nittany Lions last beat the Buckeyes in 2016.
Penn State was idle this weekend with a home game against Illinois up next. The Nittany Lions remained at No. 7 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and No. 8 in the USA Today Sports AFCA Coaches Poll. Penn State fell to Iowa, 23-20, in its last game.
Ohio State was also on its bye this weekend with a road tilt at Indiana up next. The Buckeyes have rebounded from an early season loss to Oregon and are ranked No. 5 in both the AP Top 25 Poll and the Coaches Poll. Ohio State drilled Maryland, 66-17, in its last game.
