Team Form

Steady as she blows for Montréal, who have remained right around the edge of the playoff line all season. Since defeating Orlando City last month, Montréal are 2-2-1, most recently rescuing a point at the death this past Saturday at home to Philadelphia. Summer signing Matko Miljevic scored in his first MLS start in place of the injured Quioto, playing as a false 9 in front of Djordje Mihailovic and Joaquín Torres.

Head-to-Head

Orlando City had a three-game winning streak against Montréal in all competitions snapped on September 15. Trailing 1-0 late in the first half, Orlando suffered a brutal double blow when Nani was sent off and Montréal scored their second goal immediately afterwards. The Lions would rally to tie the game in the second half, but Lassi Lappalainen would come off the bench to put Montréal ahead for good. Orlando is 6-7-2 overall against Montréal in all competitions.

Rasmussen University Fact

Orlando City and Montréal play twice over the final five games of the regular season. They are the only two teams from places two through 10 in the Eastern Conference standings with multiple games against the same opponent.
