Grey's Anatomy Season 18 fans will not be thrilled to know that the hit medical drama won't air on ABC for two weeks.

On Thursday, Grey's Anatomy Season 18 Episode 4, titled With a Little Help from My Friends, will still air. However, there will be no new episodes on Oct. 28 and Nov. 4.

Grey's Anatomy Season 18 Episode 5, titled Bottled Up and Explode, will air on ABC on Nov. 11.

Since Grey's Anatomy Season 18 Episode 5 is still three weeks away, no information has been released from the installment just yet.

However, there's plenty of information from Grey's Anatomy Season 18 Episode 4.

As of late, it's still unclear why Grey's Anatomy Season 18 will go on a two-week hiatus. But this may be due to scheduling conflicts or Halloween.

It's not uncommon for networks to air shows about Halloween at the end of the month.

What's The Plot For Grey's Anatomy Season 18 Episode 4?

ABC previously released the official synopsis for Grey's Anatomy Season 18 Episode 4.

"Richard recruits Meredith and Bailey to help him launch a new program; Addison's patient has complications from a procedure; Jo helps a woman who goes into premature labor," the synopsis reads.

The storylines in this week's episode fit the official title because they will feature most of the characters from Grey's Anatomy Season 18 helping each other out.

Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) will be more than happy to help Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) with the residents that he's training.

Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh) and Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) will also team up to help treat their patient's complications.

And even Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington) will help a stranger out in Grey's Anatomy Season 18 Episode 4.

Will Meredith Spend More Time With Nick In Minnesota In Grey's Anatomy Season 18?

In Grey's Anatomy Season 18 Episode 3, Meredith already asked permission from Webber to split her time between Minnesota and Seattle.

At first, Webber was hesitant to allow Meredith to leave the hospital, but he realized that the lead character would like to help more people.

So, even though Meredith didn't tell Webber that she's going to find a cure for Parkinson's while in Minnesota, the latter already gave her his blessing.

Meredith splitting her time between Minnesota and Seattle paves the way for the character to have more reunions with Nick (Scott Speedman).

And it's highly likely for Meredith and Nick to become a couple sometime soon in Grey's Anatomy Season 18.

There's no denying the fact that the characters have chemistry. But beyond this, Nick also seems to be good for Meredith. The character also appears to have similarities with Meredith's late husband, Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey).

Will Amelia Have A New Love Interest In Grey's Anatomy Season 18 Episode 4?

We are also convinced that Amelia will explore her sexuality in Grey's Anatomy Season 18 Episode 4.

In Grey's Anatomy Season 18 Episode 3, Amelia seemingly flirted with a female doctor from Minnesota.

There's still no confirmation whether the characters' connection will be explored further in the upcoming episodes. But we think that it would be a waste if the writers wouldn't.

After all, it's been years since a same-sex storyline between two women was featured in the medical drama.

For now, Jo and Link (Chris Carmack) are just friends. But we previously predicted that the two would become a couple in Grey's AnatomySeason 18.

The two characters have not shared much screentime since the series premiered last month. But in the few times that they got together, it was obvious how strong their connection was.

So, we're hoping to see Jo and Link together in at least one scene from Grey's Anatomy Season 18 Episode 4.

Earlier this month, Luddington and Carmack spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the possibility of their characters getting together.

Luddington said that a romance between Jo and Link had not been included in any of the scripts that she has read from Grey's Anatomy Season 18. But the actress acknowledged that it sometimes feels like the characters are playing chess because they go around and date each other.

"Right now, I feel like... They're just kind of leaning on each other right now," Luddington said.
