The Memphis Grizzlies locked up Jaren Jackson Jr on a huge four-year, $105 million extension, and his running mate, Ja Morant, couldn't be more excited. Ja took to Twitter after the deal was announced:

The Grizzlies now have the two most important players on their roster around for the long haul. We all know what Morant is capable of, winning Rookie of the Year in 2019-20 then following it up with another impressive season in 2020-21, averaging 19.1 points, 7.4 assists, and 4.1 rebounds as he led Memphis to the first round of the playoffs. That's where Ja really went off, dropping 30.2 points and dishing out 8.2 dimes against the Jazz in five games.

As for Jackson Jr, the sky is the limit. He's shown massive potential already but was limited to a mere 11 games last season for the Grizzlies because of a meniscus injury. However, he's a modern-day big man who is a monster inside but also a capable shooter, sinking 37% of his three-point attempts in three seasons. This duo is scary in itself and with Jackson Jr back to full strength, there's no telling what the Grizzlies could do in 2021-22 in a loaded Western Conference.

Memphis kicks off the campaign on Wednesday at home against Collin Sexton and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
