During the Detroit Red Wings season opener against the Tampa Bay Lightning this past Thursday, Dylan Larkin had to leave the game early after he was pushed head-first into the boards. Larkin would have had to leave even if he was not injured because he was ejected for getting up and throwing a punch.
The following day, the NHL announced that Larkin was suspended one game for his actions but the bigger fear was that he would miss even more time due to an injury.
Well, that does not appear to be the case at all as Larkin was back skating at Red Wings practice on Monday morning.
The Red Wings’ next game is on Tuesday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets and hopefully, Larkin is ready to go.
