AUSTIN, Texas —
One person is dead and another is fighting for their life after a fiery crash in northeast Austin on Sunday.

Austin-Travis County EMS said via Twitter that multiple units responded to the 3900-4750 block of East Parmer Lane around 6:05 p.m. after a 9-1-1 caller reported seeing a single vehicle lose control, rollover, hit a pole, and then catch on fire.
Paramedics said they declared one person deceased on scene. A second passenger was classified a "trauma alert" and was transported to St. David's Round Rock with serious, life-threatening injuries.
No further information was provided by local authorities.
