Food Network star Anne Burrell marries Stuart Claxton in upstate New York

Anne Burrell said “I do.”

The Food Network star married fiancé Stuart Claxton on Saturday in her upstate New York hometown of Cazenovia, People reported.

Dressed in a Carolina Herrera wedding gown, Burrell, 52, arrived in a horse and carriage. She had four bridesmaids including her sister, Jane, and fellow celebrity cook Rachael Ray. Claxton’s best man was his son, Javier, 16, from a previous marriage.

“I don’t care about the cheese factor. Every time I mention the horse and carriage, Stuart laughs a little bit,” Burrell told the magazine before the wedding, “and I’m like, ‘All right, whatever. It’s my moment and I mean to have it.'”

Claxton, 50, who works for Univision in ad sales, wore a black tuxedo by Ralph Lauren Purple Label and orange Nike high-tops.

“I wanted it to be fun and have a sense of whimsy,” Burrell explained of the sneaker choice.

Guests at the star-studded bash included Alex Guarnaschelli, Marc Murphy, Jeff Mauro, and Jenni “JWoww” Farley.

The “Worst Cooks in America” judge chose an autumnal theme for her wedding, which applied to everything from her tablescapes to her cake, which “Cake Boss” star Buddy Valastro created.

“We had talked about a carrot cake, and Buddy was like, ‘Eh, that’s good, but what about a zucchini cake?'” Burrell said. “So we’re doing a zucchini cake for one flavor, and then the other flavor is olive oil, lemon and rosemary.”

Burrell and Claxton had their first dance to Imagine Dragons’ “On Top of the World.”

The couple met in 2018 on the dating app Bumble and quarantined together in Cazenovia during the COVID-19 pandemic. They’ll be forgoing a traditional honeymoon for now and instead returning to their recently renovated apartment in Brooklyn.

“The thought of having a wedding up here, then getting home, turning around and going somewhere else is just so overwhelming to me,” she said. “So I’m very happy to just have some home time and enjoy newlywed bliss at home for a little while.”

Burrell was previously engaged to chef Koren Grieveson.
