A 57-year-old man was killed after riding his motorcycle Sunday afternoon and hitting another vehicle in Volusia County along the Interstate 4, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
At around 1 p.m. the motorcyclist, of Fort Myers, was traveling west on I-4 when he changed to the center lane and struck a sedan, said the FHP’s Lt. Kim Montes. The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene, Montes said.
The sedan driver, a 56-year-old man of Orlando, was uninjured.
The crash remains under investigation.
