The Astros and Red Sox shift to Fenway Park for Game 3. the Dodgers and Braves are off as they travel to Los Angeles with Atlanta up 2-0.

Houston Astros @ Boston Red Sox (series tied 1-1)

With so many injuries to the pitching staff, the Astros arrive in Boston having to shuffle starters. Jake Odorizzi was scheduled to start Game 4 but was forced into action Saturday, tossing 82 pitches in relief of an injured Luis Garcia.

It would’ve been less of a concern if they went up 2-0 in the series but Boston slugged grand slams in back-to-back innings for the first time in major league history, reminding everyone that the Red Sox offense is the embodiment of Jaws theme swimming at the moment.

José Urquidy takes the ball in Game 3, making his first appearance of the postseason for the Astros. The right-hander was 8-3 with a 3.62 ERA in the regular season in 20 starts but missed all of July and August with a right shoulder injury.

For the Red Sox, they turn to Eduardo Rodríguez for his third start this postseason. The lefty gave up two runs in each of the first two, getting just two outs into the second inning in Game 1 of the ALDS against the Rays and then five innings in the Game 4 clincher.

Stop me when you’ve heard this before but Kiké Hernandez is doing something special.
