Winter is coming, and with it comes spectacular culinary events. An immersive food palace is coming to central London next month, as The Great Feast descends on the Old Selfridges Hotel with food from the likes of A. Wong’s Andrew Wong; Joké Bakare, of Brixton hit Chishuru; and Oklava’s Selin Kiazim. The full chef lineup is:

  • Andrew Wong
  • Adejoké Bakare
  • Selin Kiazim
  • Ravinder Bhogal
  • Chantelle Nicholson
  • Tom Sellers
  • Jason Howard

The Great Feast spans a kitchen counter with food from those chefs dubbed the “Counter of Joy”; a dessert and cocktail experience from Chin Chin Labs and “Cocktail Guy” Rich Woods called Wonky Dreams; a multisensory immersive experience called “Joyride” with food from Andrew Clarke and direction from food artist Caroline Hobkinson; and music on the “Magic Garden” stage.

It comes from Dominic Cools-Lartigue, in partnership with Clarke and his long-time collaborator Daniel Watkins. Cools-Lartigue was behind The Tramshed Project in Shoreditch and Great Feast delivery, which launched with its first festival, this summer, and has plans for a new permanent food and co-working space in the future. The Great Feast will open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 p.m. to midnight, from 11 November through the 18 December.
