She spent her summer in a Noughties-inflected wardrobe of yacht-friendly kaftans, bikinis and platforms, but since being back on dry land, Jennifer Lopez has been embracing autumn dressing with all the enthusiasm of a blogger toting a pumpkin spice latte.
First there was the romantic stroll through a Manhattan park with on-again boyfriend Ben Affleck, for which Lopez selected a green plaid coat from Christian Dior’s autumn/winter 2020 collection and lace-up Christian Louboutin stiletto boots (it’s safe to assume there are no lug-sole stompers in Lopez’s ultra-feminine closet).

Next came a double whammy of chocolate-brown coords: she wore a dazzling two-piece by Hervé Léger to join Affleck at the premiere of his movie The Last Duel, then stepped out in a Gucci cape in the same rich shade of brown the following night.
And now Lopez has shared a glimpse of her working weekend, all decked out in autumn-appropriate shades of khaki green. The star accessorised her Sportmax look with lashings of gold jewellery by Foundrae and Jennifer Fisher (she’d switched her “Ben” necklace for one spelling out her own name), statement Tom Ford shades, and an Hermès Birkin.
Between the colour palette of greens, browns and rusts, the abundance of texture – wool, suede, leather – and the general air of rom-com that surrounds the reunited Bennifer, Lopez is essentially a walking Pinterest board for cosy autumnal style.
