GREENE COUNTY—Two people died in an accident just after 5p.m. Sunday in Greene County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Chevy Traverse driven by Robert Hicks, 28, Willard, was northbound on Farm Road 105 one half mile north of Willard.
The SUV crossed the center of the roadway and struck a southbound 2007 Mini Cooper driven by a 17-year-old girl from Springfield head-on.
Hicks and the teen died from their injuries. EMS transported a passenger in the Chevy identified as Davey Hicks, 27, Springfield, to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The driver and passenger in the Chevy were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
