NFL Week 6 breakdown: Cowboys win wild one vs. Patriots. Aaron Rodgers continues to 'own' Bears.
The Dallas Cowboys won in what was an overtime thriller in Foxborough. It was their fifth consecutive win.
The statement victory shows the Cowboys are for real.
Another team riding a five-game winning streak is the Green Bay Packers, who collected yet another win over their longtime rivals, the Chicago Bears. Green Bay is 21-5 against Chicago with Aaron Rodgers under center.
The Arizona Cardinals remain the NFL's lone undefeated team after turning what was a promising matchup going in into a rout.
NFL Week 6's biggest moments
- Aaron Rodgers yelled "I still own you" at Bears fans after scoring the game-clinching TD in yet another Packers win over their longtime rivals.
- Cowboys QB Dak Prescott was wearing a walking boot after Sunday's wild OT win over the Patriots.
- The Jaguars finally put an end to their losing streak, which had hit 20 games.
- Baker Mayfield said his injured shoulder "feels like (expletive)," but expects to be able to play Thursday night when the Browns host the Broncos.
- Derek Carr said the drama surrounding Jon Gruden helped bring Raiders players closer together.
NFL Week 6 analysis
- Winners and losers: MVP candidate Dak Prescott has the Cowboys looking like a Super Bowl contender. The Chiefs, meanwhile, need to work on their ball security.
- 32 things we learned: Kyler Murray continued to bolster his MVP résumé as the Cardinals improved to 6-0. The Packers have won 19 of their past 22 meetings with the Bears.
- Ravens show Chargers what a bona fide contender looks like: The Chargers were overmatched by the Ravens at nearly every turn and left with a list of teaching points for players and coaches alike to mull over, Mike Jones writes.
NFL Week 6 rundown
- Steelers 23, Seahawks 20 (OT): T.J. Watt showed why he's the NFL's highest-paid defensive player in this one.
- Raiders 34, Broncos 24: The post-Jon Gruden era opened with a convincing road win over a division rival.
- Cowboys 35, Patriots 29 (OT): The Cowboys pulled off a fifth consecutive victory in a thriller in Foxborough.
- Cardinals 37, Browns 14: The battered and reeling Browns were no match for the NFL's lone undefeated team.
- Bengals 34, Lions 11: Concerns about Ja'Marr Chase's case of the dropsies in the preseason now feel like a lifetime ago.
- Packers 24, Bears 14: Aaron Rodgers had a message for Bears fans after scoring a fourth quarter TD: "I still own you!"
- Chiefs 31, Football Team 13: The Chiefs defense hunkered down in the second half to ensure this victory.
- Colts 31, Texans 3: Jonathan Taylor had the longest run from scrimmage in Colts history in this blowout of the lowly Texans.
- Rams 38, Giants 11: Giants head coach Joe Judge challenged the heart of his team during this debacle.
- Ravens 34, Chargers 6: This showdown of two of the league's hottest teams and bright young QBs was a one-sided rout.

- Jaguars 23, Dolphins 20: The second-longest losing streak in NFL history finally came to an end, and all the Jaguars had to do was go to London to get that elusive "W."
- Buccaneers 28, Eagles 22 (Thursday): Tom Brady and Co. did just enough to pull out this win in Philadelphia.
Eyes on the (fantasy) prize
Three rookie running backs top the fantasy waiver wire this week.
With their top two backs out on Sunday, the Bears turned exclusively to Khalil Herbert. After getting 18 carries last week in a reserve role, Herbert had 19 in his first NFL start – good for 97 yards and a touchdown. Chicago has a tough task with Tampa Bay up next, but if Damien Williams isn’t ready to come off the COVID list, Herbert has shown he can handle full-time duties.
The Patriots’ Rhamondre Stevenson, had his most productive day as a pro – rushing for 23 yards and a score, and catching three passes for 39 more yards. More important, he protected the ball, which could earn him even more playing time going forward.
And with Samaje Perine on the Bengals’ COVID list, Chris Evans had three receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown to go with 18 rushing yards in relief of starter Joe Mixon. Consider Evans only in deep leagues.
Rookie wideout Jaylen Waddle was happy to see Tua Tagovailoa back at quarterback for the Dolphins. He caught 10 passes for 70 yards and two scores in London.
Veteran Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton made his season debut after missing the first five weeks with a neck injury. He caught all four of his targets for 80 yards and did a good job of stretching the field, but he left the game early due to a quadriceps injury.
And with Rob Gronkowski still sidelined, Buccaneers tight end O.J. Howard caught six of his seven targets on Thursday night for 49 yards and a TD. We all know how much Tom Brady loves his tight ends in the red zone.
