BOTTOM LINE: Montreal aims to end its three-game skid when the Canadiens take on San Jose.

Montreal went 24-21-11 overall with a 13-11-4 record at home in the 2020-21 season. The Canadiens were called for 200 penalties last season averaging 3.6 penalties and 8.3 penalty minutes per game.

San Jose went 21-28-7 overall and 10-15-3 on the road a season ago. Goalies for the Sharks allowed 3.3 goals on 31.8 shots per game last season.
