Call of Duty: Vanguard Launch Trailer Arrives Early, Outlines All Modes

The upcoming shooter features a campaign spanning various theaters in WW2, a new Zombies mode and 20 multiplayer maps at launch.

Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Vanguard isn’t out until November 5th but there’s already a launch trailer available. It’s a quick cut of all the different modes, from a campaign that spreads across the globe during World War 2 to multiplayer and Zombies, set to Jack White’s “Taking Me Back.” Check it out below.

The campaign takes place in an alternate World War 2 timeline after Hitler’s defeat. Task Force One is formed to take down his successor, Hermann Wenzel Freisinger of the Gestapo, before the mysterious Project Phoenix can be completed. Multiplayer offers 20 maps at launch with new modes like Champion Hill and features like Combat Pacing.

Then there’s the recently revealed Zombies mode by Treyarch, which is set before Black Ops Cold War’s storyline. It kicks off with Der Anfang and introduces four new Dark Aether abilities along with the return of upgrades. Call of Duty: Vanguard is coming to Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC – stay tuned for more trailers and gameplay in the coming weeks.
