Big Hit Music Opens Global Auditions for New Male Trainees

Big Hit Music (under HYBE Labels) have opened their global auditions to look for new talents to sign under the label.

Big Hit Music Opens Global Auditions to Look for New Male Talents

On October 15, Big Hit Music announced that global auditions for 2021 have opened through their social media platforms. In their video, BTS explains how to audition.

Through the website, people worldwide can audition for one of the four categories: vocal, dance, rap, or producing. All applicants must submit a photo showing their front face well. They must also submit a one-minute-long audition video with their application.

Those who want to apply for a vocal position must submit a one-minute cover of the song of their choice. For rappers, they can either rap a song of their choice or their self-composed song for more than a minute. The applicant's upper body and face must be seen entirely in the video.

For those applying as dancers, their whole face and body must be seen from head to toe.

For producers, they can submit a file of their own track or MIDI.

BTS encourages applicants to refrain from sending photos that do not show their face that well or pictures that were taken with a filter. In addition, videos and pictures that are out of focus, blurry, or of low quality can be excluded during the screening process of the auditions.

Only males born in 2002 or after can apply. Auditions will be held from October 18 to December 20.

BELIFT Lab Opens Global Auditions for 'I-LAND 2'

Big Hit Music is not the only subsidiary under HYBE Labels to open global auditions. Back on September 27, it was announced that BELIFT Lab, home of ENHYPEN, opened global auditions for female trainees. Female trainees stand a chance to compete in I-LAND 2, the second season of I-LAND that formed ENHYPEN.

Auditions were held from September 27 to October 10. Only females born between 2000 and 2009 could audition for BELIFT Lab. Over 140,000 girls from around the world auditioned for the company.
