On various online communities, a speculated roster of attendees and performers at the upcoming Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2021 became a hot topic.

On the predicted list, not only the biggest and rising K-pop artists are included, but international singers Justin Bieber, AKB48, and JO1 are also present.

MAMA 2021: K-pop Idols & Groups Predicted to Attend the Ceremony

On MAMA 2021's special documentary, Park Jinyoung and PSY appeared, hinting at a possible JYP Party at the awards ceremony.

Thus, in the speculated lineup, numerous JYP Entertainment artists includes TWICE, Stray Kids, ITZY, NiziU, and J.Y. Park.

Rumored MAMA 2021 Lineup Draws Mixed Reactions

As soon as the alleged roster spread on social media platforms in a flash, the K-pop fandoms were divided.

While several fans expressed their excitement for the possible interaction among groups, international artists, K-pop icons, and rookie monster groups, many are unhappy.

In particular, others expressed their regrets that if the lineup turns out to be true, there will be no IU and BLACKPINK.

This is because IU and BLACKPINK are some of the much-awaited artists and main attractions of the annual ceremony. Most of the time, their performances and appearances always receive huge reactions and rewards.

In addition to this, STAYC, Oh My Girl, MONSTA X, and NCT Dream, who all did good with their latest releases, were also not included, disappointing their respective fan bases.

A fan commented, "They are not included? Even though they did well this year?

On the flip side, while there are music fans who are disappointed due to the artists not included in the speculated lineup, some remain skeptical.

Some of them are SM Artists stans, who are confused with the number of SM Entertainment artists who are on the roster.

An EXO-L said, "EXO? They stopped joining awards ceremony following the MAMA 2017 controversy."

Nevertheless, the list is still not final as MAMA 2021 is yet to announce the official lineup.
