We already know that Ms. Marvel is going to be one of the major Marvel Cinematic Universe shows that will air on Disney+ next year. But when exactly is the show's official release date? Mohan Kapur may have confirmed that we'll be seeing Kamala Khan in action next summer.
Fans have been waiting for any update on Ms. Marvel for some time now. However, Marvel Studios appears to be keeping things under wraps although the series has already concluded production in May.
So when can we expect to see Ms. Marvel next year? A fan reached out to Kapur hoping for an update. Kapur, who will play Kamala's father Yusuf Khan in the MCU series, responded with a positive answer.
This is an exciting update considering that fans were worried that Ms. Marvel might premiere in late 2022. However, we're glad to know that Marvel and Disney are planning to release the series a lot earlier than expected. With that in mind, we can't wait to see Kamala soaring into action this summer.
So why is Ms. Marvel getting released a lot earlier than expected? This might have a lot to do with giving Kamala a proper introduction before she joins Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau in the Captain Marvel sequel The Marvels. Since the Brie Larson film is scheduled for release in November 2022, it would make sense for the show to premiere in the summer of next year.
Ms. Marvel will also star Saagar Shaikh, Aramis Knight, Matt Lintz, and Zenobia Shroff. The series is expected to premiere on Disney+ in June or July 2022. Kamala will then return in The Marvels, which will hit theaters on November 11, 2022.
