Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott gave Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots all sorts of problems in their Week 6 showdown, so much so that he made history along the way.

Prescott threw for 445 yards on 36-of-51 pass completion, which is the most-ever by any quarterback against a Bill Belichick-coached Patriots team–including the playoffs. The Cowboys superstar finished with three touchdowns to lead the Cowboys to the 35-29 win.

Dak Prescott certainly showed he's Bill Belichick's nightmare, and as an extra sweetener to the win, it is the first Cowboys victory in New England since 1987. That's a 34-year wait for Dallas to taste victory on the road against the Patriots.

In a bit of a bad news for the Cowboys, though, Prescott sustained an injury in the game as he had to be helped off the field by teammate Ezekiel Elliott. According to the latest updates, he suffered from a calf strain and will be evaluated on Monday to determine the extent of his injury.

Sure enough, the Cowboys and its fanbase will be hoping for the best with regards to the injury. Luckily for them, Prescott will have more time recovering from the issue with Dallas heading to its by week.

The Cowboys certainly need Prescott to be at his best if they want to keep on competing. After all, he just showed one of the best coaches in the league that he is truly one of the elite quarterbacks in all of football.
