If you love pugs — or just love dogs in general —you’ll want to stop in at One of A King Pet Rescue in Akron (1929 W. Market Street) for Pug Fest 2021.
Ohio Pug Rescue will be there welcoming lovers of all types of dogs, with costume contests, corn hole toss. photo ops, raffle baskets, vendors, food and the chance to bond with other pet owners.
They’ll be encouraging adoptions and raising money for both organizations. One of a Kind specializes in rescuing animals scheduled for euthanasia, such as pets of elderly people entering assisted living or skinny stray dogs found on the street, with no time limit on how long an animal can stay.
