BRIGHTON, Mich. – A worker for DTE Energy died Sunday while working to restore power in Brighton.
According to the company, the employee came into contact with an energized cable and sustained fatal injuries.
DTE said the worker “held a commitment to caring for our customers and communities, and we view him as a hero.”
The company is asking for consideration and privacy as they reach out to the employee’s family.
