BUCHANAN COUNTY —A Missouri teen was injured in an accident just after 9a.m. Sunday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a Chevy Silverado driven by Harrison R. Loafland, 18, DeKalb, was northbound on Highway J three miles north of DeKalb.
The pickup traveled off the east side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle returned to the road, began to skid, traveled off the road a second time, struck an embankment and overturned.
A private vehicle transported Loafland to Mosaic Life Care. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
