Josh Allen has made hurdling over defenders look easy.
From his rookie year when he jumped over Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr to last week’s leap that saw him leap over Kansas City Chiefs cornerback L’Jarius Sneed, the Buffalo Bills quarterback makes hurdling over defenders look easy. Too easy, perhaps.
On Sunday morning, Mike Gesicki and the Miami Dolphins took on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. During the course of the game, Gesicki hauled in quite a few passes from Tua Tagovailoa (8-115) including one in which he tried to channel his inner-Josh Allen to hurdle a defender. Needless to say, it did not go well.
Gesicki’s failure to hurdle a defender pales in comparison to the Dolphins’ failure on Sunday. The team lost on a last second field goal against the Jaguars to drop to 1-5 on the season. The win ended Jacksonville’s 20-game losing streak.
