Woman flown to University Hospital after Audrain County crash

UPDATE: According to Columbia Fire, the 21-year-old woman was the only victim flown to University Hospital after the crash.

One person was flown to University Hospital after being involved in a Audrain County crash on Saturday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, 22-year-old Johnathan Fowler was speeding along Route 22 near Audrain Road 898, when he lost control of the Porsche he was driving while trying to pass another vehicle.

The Porsche then went off the right side of the road and hit an embankment.

Both Fowler and his 21-year-old passenger were taken to University Hospital for their injuries.

As of Sunday morning, Fowler had been released and the 21-year-old woman was in critical condition.

Both individuals were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, according to the report.
