The first half was rough for the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Miami Dolphins. Though they finally got their first field goal of the season, those were the only points they were able to put together through the 2-minute warning in the first half.

Trailing by 10, the Jaguars finally got a break when they held the Dolphins to a three-and-out deep in their own territory. Trevor Lawrence took over after a punt with 1:45 to go and the ball at the Dolphins' 49-yard line.

The No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft quickly went to work with a short pass to Laviska Shenault that went for 10 yards and a first down, but the drive seemed to stall there. On fourth-and-6, though, Lawrence showed why he was so highly coveted coming out of Clemson, finding Shenault, who twisted through a tackle to just pick up the first down.

The next play, the Jaguars finally cashed in as Lawrence hit Marvin Jones on a gorgeous 28-yard touchdown strike. This made the score 13-10 Dolphins.

Lawrence's quarterback counterpart, Tua Tagovailoa, had a great first drive, but the rookie has been making up ground.

James Robinson goes off on some tough runs to give Jaguars the lead

On the Jaguars' first drive of the second half, things kept looking up for the Jaguars. It started on this Trevor Lawrence dart to Jamal Agnew for 29 yards.

Then after an unnecessary roughness penalty on Miami's Jevon Holland, James Robinson bulldozed his way down to the 1-yard line. He nearly coughed up the ball, but the officials ruled he was down.

Robinson punched it in on the next play to put Jacksonville in the lead 17-13.

Now the only question is whether the Jaguars can build off this and end their 20-game losing streak.
