UPDATE: Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office makes arrest in Peachland Mobile Home Park shooting

UPDATE: LINCOLN PARISH (KTVE/KARD) — The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office says they have made an arrest in the shooting that happened at Peachland Mobile Home Park. According to deputies they have arrested one juvenile and have taken them into custody on one count of Second Degree Murder and one count of Attempted Second Degree Murder.

According to deputies, on October 21, 2021, the sheriff’s office arrested the juvenile for his involvement in the shooting on October 16th that left one person dead and another seriously wounded at Peachland Mobile Home Park. Deputies say the juvenile is currently being held without bond.

Deputies say they are still investigating this shooting and if anyone has any information about this shooting, they are urged to get in touch with the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-251-5111. (KTVE/KARD) (October 17, 2021 9:02 a.m.)– An overnight shooting in Lincoln Parish leaves authorities asking for the public’s help in providing any information known about a shooting that took place at Peachland Mobile Home Park on Highway 80. That shooting left one person dead and another seriously injured.
