Martino also notes that acting GM Zack Scott has “made a very strong impression” on Sandy Alderson and Steve Cohen and it remains a possibility that he will be promoted.

Dodgers assistant GM Brandon Gomes is a name that has been floated as a potential candidate for the job, but the Dodgers will promote him to general manager to keep him in the organization, according to reports.
