Wanderers fell at the first hurdle in last years competition, losing 3-2 to Crewe Alexandra at the UNIBOL.
Wanderers are of course seven time finalists in the competition, winning four in 1923, 1926, 1929 and 1958.
Bolton haven’t had the best of records in the worlds oldest cup competition in the last decade, failing to progress past the fourth round since reaching the quarter-finals in the 2011/12 season.
A cup run would always be fantastic to see, though obviously the league is the priority.
