US people that are DISABLED and on SSI is seeing it the WORSE right now our monthly benefits are $ 794.00 A MONTH and we will be getting around 45 dollar raise from the COLA which senior citizens on social security are seeing it hard to survive to most of them get double the monthly benefits that people on SSI get most people on social security draw 1500 hundred to 2000 a month that's above POVERTY level people on SSI 794 a month is about 300 dollars a month below POVERTY levels I could live good on 1500 or 2000 a month they need to get the SSI restoration act in action and get it passed it's been kicked down the road for decades now at LEAST that would get people on SSI up to the POVERTY LINE not above
