On Saturday’s DAZN stream, promoter Eddie Hearn said he has offered JoJo Diaz the same money JoJo would have made for fighting injured Ryan “Kingry” Garcia if he will fight WBC lightweight champion Devin Haney on December 4 in Las Vegas. “You’re gonna look real bad if you don’t accept this offer,” Hearn said. “The only way you wouldn’t do it is if you don’t believe you would beat him.”
Diaz responded via Twitter. “Imma fight Devin Haney in December y’all I promise. Like Ryan Garcia, he hasn’t been tested and I’ll give Devin his first L…and for Ryan Garcia hope you recover quick. Once I take out Devin I’m coming after you next!”
Paper Champ wont fight JoJo, or anyone with a heart beat.
He fought Lineres and Ryan Garcia dodged Lineres, Tank and Haney.
Hearn is a punk. He always takes the childish asshat way. Like a punk kid. Hate the fool.Half beard . So he has a setting on his shaver to make him look manish. Check.
All in all this is a good match up. JoJo is battle tested but weve seen his limits. Haney looks good but theres still alot of questions. He’s been so good that he’s boring but his chin has looked a little shaky.
My prediction is Handey wins a comfortable decision that won’t win over any new fans.

The Lightweight division needed this cause it cooled down a lot
Diaz fought difficult Gary Russell and Tevin Farmer when he probably could have waited around for easier title shots and I expect him to take this fight and do well.
They all want to move up to 140 and fight Josh Taylor.
Funny how Eddie Hearn had to do all the talking in order to make the fight?? Devin was like a deer in headlights during the interview!!
Diaz will miss weight
For a paper champ thats so unproven, and so chinny, he sure has a hard time getting an opponent in the ring to come take his coveted WBC title. When last u seen 2 mandatories opt out of their opportunity for their shot at the title. WBC made a protection belt for the so called P4P #1 fighter to avoid a match with Haney.
Haney is by far the biggest boogeyman of this era.
