Šeško is a pacey and technically gifted attacker. He has been developed at a club that deploy similarly aggressive counter-attacking tactics to Jürgen Klopp.
To illustrate this point, in the Champions League, Šeško has averaged 16.4 pressures so far this season which is close to Roberto Firmino's numbers of 18.96 via FBref.
Last season, Šeško's top speed was 36.11km/h which was faster than Kylian Mbappé's during the same season and one of the fastest recorded in Europe.
Due to his towering height (194cm), Šeško is also adept in the air. He has already scored three headed goals so far this season and he is excellent at winning his aerial duels averaging a whopping 8.17 aerial duels per 90 in the league and winning 46.8 per cent of them.
Combining his aerial ability and pace, Šeško could be the perfect target man for Trent Alexander-Arnold's crosses.
Due to his playing style, Šeško has often been compared to Erling Haaland and the Slovenian would provide a cheaper alternative for Liverpool in the market, even if he is nowhere near the Borussia Dortmund star's level yet.
Salzburg are always happy to sell, and they do not have a tendency to ramp up prices to extortionate levels. Liverpool will know first hand how easy it was to secure Takumi Minamino for an extremely low sum.
If Šeško continues to catch the eye, he could be the long-term solution for Liverpool's no.9 role. For now, considering he has only been in Salzburg's first team for less than six months, he still needs to put down more on his plate before he is ready for the step-up.
