Black Adam Opening Clip Sets A Brutal Tone For Dwayne Johnson’s DC Film | DC FanDome

So it feels like we’ve been talking about Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam film at Warner Bros. Pictures for a very long time now. For a while now we started even doubting if it was ever really going to happen. Then finally things starting moving. Last year at DC FanDome we saw concept art and a very exciting introduction by Johnson.

At this year’s DC FanDome we were first treated to more concept art, but also a look at some of the characters’ symbols from the Justice Society of America in Black Adam. For example Atom Smasher, Cyclone, and Hawkman. These symbols were accompanied by the actors that play them, including Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell, and Aldis Hodge. Another member of the group we got a glimpse of was Doctor Fate, who is played by Pierce Brosnan. Specifically, we got a look at his amazing iconic helmet. You can check out the clip below!

Then after some words from Johnson about the production of Black Adam, we finally got our first look at Black Adam in a brutal clip. In the clip, we see Sarah Shahi’s Adrianna Tomaz and her partner exploring a cave. We can only assume that this may be Black Adams’ tomb? Or Prison maybe? They obviously trip something and it prompts Black Adam to appear. When a soldier approaches him, Black Adam grabs him by the neck and using his electrical powers, disintegrates him.

This no doubt sets the tone for the brutality that Johnson will bring to the character. The Justice Society of America is going to have its hands full. This was an exciting way to kick off DC FanDome. What did you think of the clip? Let us know in the comment section below!
