Philadelphia 76ers star guard Ben Simmons is going through a lot of drama dealing with the results of his holdout as he tries to force his way out of town via trade.
Now that the star guard has reappeared and cleared protocols, the plan is for him to participate until the Sixers can fulfill his trade request. Coach Doc Rivers is not yet ready to give up on his star guard, and the Sixers are ready to move forward with him on the roster on opening night.
To give Simmons encouragement, franchise legend Allen Iverson took to Twitter to give the young guard a message. He wanted him to stay focused while also giving a shoutout to the Sixers fans who loved him so much.

The funny part is that Iverson tagged the wrong Ben Simmons. Simmons’ Twitter handle is @bensimmons25. Hopefully, the real one ends up seeing Iverson’s message.
