Tornado warning issued for part of Berkshire County on Saturday

A tornado warning has been issued for part of Berkshire County on Saturday evening.

The National Weather Service issued the warning for Hinsdale, Dalton and Savoy until 6:30 p.m.

There could be penny-sized hail, according to the weather service.

Additionally, a severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Shelburn Falls, Colrain and Buckland until 6:45 p.m.

There could be winds up to 60 miles per hour, as well as possible penny-sized hail, according to the weather service.

Earlier in the day, the weather service issued a severe thunderstorm watch that included Berkshire County.
