The Grizzlies will not exercise Culver's fourth-year option for the 2022-23 season, Chris Herrington of The Daily Memphian reports.

The Grizzlies have already decided against having Culver's $8.1 million salary on the books next season, meaning the third-year player is now on an expiring contract. The 2019 sixth overall pick was dealt to the team over the summer and could see depth minutes on the wing. He appeared in four preseason games for Memphis and averaged 3.8 points on 27.3 percent shooting, 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 13.7 minutes. He is clearly in danger of being out of the league next season.
