Sam Pittman and the Arkansas Razorbacks were without star safety Jalen Catalon for Saturday’s game against Auburn.

And, now, it seems the Hogs will be without the talented defender for a whole lot longer. Coach Sam Pittman announced after Saturday’s loss that Catalon would miss the rest of the season.

Per Pittman, the plan is for Catalon to have surgery on Monday. It seems the recovery time will keep him out through the rest of the year:

Catalon had 46 tackles (1.5 for a loss), 2 interceptions and 4 pass breakups so far this season.

His absence will certainly be felt (and has already been felt) by the Hogs moving forward.
